Bloody insurance

I got a text from my insurance ( performance direct) to say that my renewal payment was declined!
I didn’t get a reminder so phoned up to see what was up. I got a new credit card so that’s why
My insurance has gone up £100 in 2 years AND my excess has gone up from £200 to £800!!
No claims no convictions 66 yo driver.
Said I would shop around, that’s when I found out I have a 6000 mile pa limit….. which is a b@gger as I done 20000 last year!!
Any insurance recommendations from you guys?

I've used AIB for nine years and been very happy, only modest increases in premiums so never bothered looking elsewhere.
No claims in that period though
66 and motorhome parked on drive.
But insurance is risk based on individual so probably best to ring around

Peter Best Insurance Services looked after me very well at renewal and provided a free* tracker and subscription.
The cost of the tracker was no doubt built into the premium but still cheaper than anyone.

Nfu been with a couple of years , I think cover is good . Don’t require tracker , but unfortunately you don’t get break cover if over certain weight,
But I just get my own breakdown cover.
