Now as you know I have 3 dogs, and love them, and also like other people's dogs too but the ruddy owners can be a pain. This morning we had showers in the MH so wet towels etc to dry, not a problem, hung them on a line on the rear of the MH and took pooches for a walk on the beach. So far, so good
.
Walking along there were a few dogs and all were okay however a doberman's owners weren't paying much attention to it and it sprinted well up the beach before they realised and started pitifully calling it, which it ignored, or more likely didn't hear, fortunately though it followed another dog back towards them, they then walked on and got some way in front of us.

There was a smaller terrier type dog playing with a Kong toy near us, next thing we knew the ruddy doberman was back, nicked the toy and ran into the water with it and dropped it! The stupid thing then couldn't find it so as I only had slip on sandals I gave hubby my bag etc, rolled my trousers up and proceeded to fetch the toy before it ended up going out to sea as it was already in water a foot deep.

This is where things went a bit pear shaped  ... I got the toy but just as I turned to get back to shore before the waves got me the flaming doberman came up to grab the toy ... I'm sure you can guess what happened next!

Yup, second 'wash' of the day .. I ended up on my bum in the water, thoroughly soaked! Stop laughing. 😆

The terrier's owned came to help me up so he ended up with wet feet and was apologising but it wasn't his fault, it was the owners of the doberman who were by now at least 300ft away and still walking with their backs to us, totally oblivious to where there flipping dog was or what had happened. The first they knew there was a problem was when their dog ran to them with the Kong. The damned thing then went into the water with it and I thought I'd have to retrieve the flipping thing again so matched over to them by which time they were trying to get it off it which they eventually did but I showed them the state of me, dripping wet, and that there dog had caused it because they hadn't been keeping a watch on it. Apologies in English from them so they certainly understood and hopefully will supervise it more closely, if I'd been a kid I could easily have been hurt.

The Kong owner was very thankful and I said hi to his pooch who was happy to be reunited with his toy so worth it in the end, can't have an unhappy pooch! 😄

I've rinsed out all my drenched clothes to get the salty water and sand off them and have just hung them up on the camper too ... and it's just started raining!!! :swear:. Another ruddy 'wash'! 😱

Okay, you can giggle now! 😆

Minxy like or laugh isn't appropriate. I would have been fuming.

I would argue with the “in Spain” 😬
Is that because it happens elsewhere or because according to my sister I'm not in Spain but hiding out in the UK somewhere? 😄

I was well peed off with the doberman's owners which I think they realised but I kept my cool ... not difficult 'cause the water was chilly! 😄

German dog?
Hymer owners?
