I know there is a blind that Maxxair supply for their fans but does anyone know of an alternative that's on the market?

Cheers

If you have a heki blind you can modify that to fit.

A few of Funsters have modified both Heiki & Remis ones to fit.

Perfect 👌, thanks Lenny, don't know how I missed the post....

Why? What’s wrong with the Maxxfan one, we have one fitted and the lights are useful.

I’ve got the smoked Maxxfan and found we don’t need a blind other than when it’s windy. We cut a section of felt like fabric and use Velcro dots to fix it when we want to block the wind and just fold and leave in a cupboard when we don’t.

Great tip Andy MacD - our Maxxfan is the solid white one and it lets in way too much light in on early Scandinavian summer mornings for our taste so we'll nick the velcro/felt if you don't mind (y)

Cool, I got a pack of white and black dots, white fuzzy to the Maxxfan and black hooks on the felt. You may need to sew the dots onto the felt though.

Why?.... Because I would like to to know.

What's wrong with them?... Nothing, that I'm aware of.

Cheers

The maxxfan one is cheap and nasty. Not nice to operate and is poor relation to an otherwise great product. Mine has already broken, and the parts aren’t available for it.
