Just a question roughly wat dates would be suitable month etc. so I can see wat the majority says.

Caravan club charge an arm and a leg I'll see if we could park on the grounds. I can only ask

Bladon Chains CC site, we were there when they opened at the end of March, right next door to the Palace. They wouldn't be cheap but bags of room in the Palace grounds if they were amenable to the idea and a 30 minute bus ride into Oxford on the S2. 15 minute walk into Woodstock with plenty of pubs and restaurants. We're pretty well booked up this year but might find a window depending on dates.

they often have good events on there too - antiques fairs, car shows etc

perhaps link in with one of those as well?

Experience says book a date that suits you and the venue, when you have a date then put it up and thy followers will come, you will never ever find a date that suits a majority or minority..

Also check Blenheim palace website "events" section as there is a lot going on there eg triathlons, horse trials, game fair (avoid those weekends as traffic horrendous), battle proms. There may well be restrictions to rally's for the big weekend events.

Response Blenheim palace

Just had a response from Blenheim palace. They are asking. For dates. And numbers of vans. So can u pls put the dates on which would suit your self then we can prob meet in the middle some where. :thumb:

have a look at the fun diary pick a date when nothing is happening and put it up or you will end up with a thread full of dates no good to any one and one big argument its your met set the date that the best way :thumb:

I'm with Bill, do it to suit you, but there is a big hole in the events end of Aug - early Sept

You are bound to get a good response, but it will still depend on how much they want to charge per outfit / night
