I want to connect up a second gas bottle. I have the space and the crash sensor (regulator?) will accept two. The unused side of the sensor has what looks like a blanking plug screwed on. I know that fitting a gas coupling to the bottle is bsck to front, i.e. turn anticlockwise to tighten but is this also true for the other end? The blanking plug is on tight and concerned about trying to unscrew it the wrong way and end up over tightening.

I think I've found the answer. It seems like gas fittings have a notch on the nut if left hand thread. So, if no notch on blanking nut then loosen by turning anticlockwise! Why do I still feel like a newbie after a year with a MH? I guess it's true what tbey say....you never stop learning. Now watch someone come back to say some have a left hand thread without having a notch.
