Bit Of A Strange DAB One

[Coastal Cruiser.]

Been having trouble with my DAB on the van since new and despite a new antenna being fitted by the factory it is still iffy…

Took the van out today and while parked up for lunch was playing around with it, DAB working ok I then turn on the rear camera monitor and the DAB radio stops working, turn off monitor and it works again!!!

Any ideas why this is??

Obviously interference from the monitor.

I think there is a recent thread or two on here.

Get some of those ferrite core clamp things on monitor and/or DAB leads?

Becks, when they were still around, told me the same thing, interference from the rear view camera and satnav cables strewn across the dashboard.

DAB radio not fit for purpose.
I haven't found one yet that can match FM for uninterrupted reception on the move.

I had an aguri sat-nav that did the same…
