Morning,

To all the MH Fun cyclist

What is better out the two Taylormade or Bags for everything large bike rack cover.

Both seem good options but would like some funsters knowledge.

Thanks

It’s more a question of what suits your needs. In past have tried fiamma and Taylormade. From memory both quite heavy and tricky to fit. For proper fit , we have two bikes, the fiamma needed outside bike handlebars turned 90 degrees. Taylormade better but obscured lights, they took it back without quibble. Since have let bikes get wet. Now have towball mounted rack and may cover them again. From dark ages have an Oxford motorbike cover, very light and still just about waterproof. Have to strap all covers around bikes. And don’t forget warning board, compulsory abroad and a good idea over here for the geniuses who don’t look ahead

As our bikes are old and we just cover the saddles with 2 strong carrier bags, lock both up with 2 anticrook locks , so that they are visible and not attractive to thieves. We hope...
Been 10 years now and no thefts.
Mitch.

We've been using an Oxford 3 bike cover for 4 years now ( around £14). Very light, still in one piece and still waterproof. It needed a little alteration to fit the rack though but not a bad option if you can make suitable alterations.

Been using the Fiamma S2 for a few weeks and a few thousand miles (and several storms). It's OK but not really going to last much longer. I'll probably buy 1/2 doz eBay cheapies for the same money next time.

Bags for Everything made our cover bespoke. They measured and noted the various fixings to give a far better cover than off the shelf.

Have a Fiamma cover but rarely use it as it obscures view of the rear view camera when reversing.

If you have your bike rack on the rear wall as opposed to a tow hitch, you may want to put a blanket over the bikes just to check if a cover might restrict your rear view via a camera.

Great idea, or adjust the camera slightly.
Ordered bags for everything cover as they seemed the best size in the end, ordered monday morning due to be delivered wednesday, he also gave me 20% off 😎
