Bike rack choice for Bessacarr 494 (2016)

Hello all, I’m new here and new to motorhomeing too. We have a 2016 Bessacarr 494 and I want to install a bike rack to carry both bikes and a Fiamma box (not at the same time). Firstly, any recommendations please? Secondly, I’m assuming they can be retrofitted and if so, has anyone fitted one themselves rather than dealer fit? I’m an auto electronics engineer by trade so confident of doing it if you guys say it can be done. Thank you in anticipation and looking forward to visiting here regularly..!!

Not sure on your actual model but I had a E480G 2012 and it had strengthened positions inside the fancy rear end for the rack which the dealer knew about. They fitted a Fiamma 2 bike lifting rack as it was too high to lift the bikes onto a fixed one. Worked very well but the bike cover obscured the high mounted factory fit camera in the 3rd brake lights.

Thanks for the info royandsharont . Think I’m going to take the rear inner panels out to see if there’s any clues there

If you attach a photo of the rear of yours then if it the same style as my old one I will reply with a photo of where they fitted it. Min had a very large garage with bed above so I had 2 points bolted in the garage & 2 in the bedroom
