Hi any tips, we need to store our 2 electric bikes better in the garage, we had a very simple thing that took the scooter wheel that the wheel just rode into and then we secured with straps.
Get a similar item or is there a better option.
Thank you

We had a fiamma double stand in last van that bolted thru floor, just using ratchet straps in new one.

If it's just to hold them while/until you tie down something like this might work,

On the new tandem we have a centre stand that is really useful and can be fitted to most frames I guess.

Centre stand

As posted on another thread, https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...ns-of-models-to-consider.313595/#post-6408896 we use 2 toast rack type supports that the rear wheels go into. They are adjustable for various width tyres, ours being 4" fat tyres. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CFTDR9DB?tag=mhf04-21 & a plastic one that was chosen for low weight and to trial. We put the bikes in front to rear and use a decathlon https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/bike-frame-adaptor-bar-for-bike-rack/_/R-p-328787 to join the 2 seat posts and basically create a solid box like structure so the bikes don't move. As each end has ratchets and quick release mechanisms it's easy to fit and remove. We then use a bungee on each pannier rack to secure to the eyelets in the garage floor rails. We do drop the handle bars more to quickly load than any other reason.

Cheap, simple, quick and easy to use.

Could always do a swap with us when you get your new van? Will throw in Lola if that will seal the deal? Anyway we use a wheel steady like the ones found for parking front bike wheels about £15 off e bay its a lot like the drive in clamps for scooter wheels on offer at the moment

M Part Grandstand Single Bike Floor Stand £14.99

Deal. Who can resist a lola 🙂

I purchased an old 4 bike rear carrier and used parts to hold 2 bikes with plenty of room left. Inside bike has handlebars turned other one simply held by straps and original clamp with plastic pipe arm.

I copied this which has been great for a couple of years

I use this method as I often take 3 or 4 bikes. Worked well for me for over 10 years..

Sorry I never made a YouTube 📹 of it to tell everyone

Have a look at the Thule slide outs, expensive but soooo easy to use and top quality👍

Hiplok JAW work well if you mount them at one end of the garage and then just put the front wheel in
