Best racks

Whichever is cheaper or fits best tbh. We have the Fiamma one and it works very well but the Thule one is probably just as good.

Get one for electric bikes as normal ones won’t take the weight(of electric bikes) 👍😁

These are brilliant and really well engineered. Got mine second hand from a funster and it manages to cope well with two Giant electric bikes.

These state suitable for electric bikes. I think they are max 50KG so should be fine to two e bikes.

Looks very similar to the 2 I linked. I need to get it fitted by the dealer to maintain the damp warranty ( and i'd rather for any other potentail problems) and they only supply the Thule and the Fiammia.

The fittings for mine were already there, fitted as standard by Chausson so thankfully that's a problem I don't have.

About £700 now.(manual version) Dealer supplied and fitted £1200 !!!!
When I fitted ours, it was max 4 bike rails.

The problem I found was the rear back wall of the motorhome flexed too much when on poor roads.

I thought, If I hit a big speed hump too fast or one of those unexpected road deformations, that back wall could take some strain.

So I removed the rear lounge back seat covers and reinforced the wall where the carrier bolts went in with rectangular aluminum tube. This spread the weight across the whole rear wall section and reduced the flexing.

Not sure I'm into that amount of DIY but I would have thought having a Burstner dealership ,(and the main/biggest one to) do the job there would be some comeback if there was an issue?

I’m just glad I was not the only person who misinterpreted the thread title,
There is either hope for me yet or several others are on the same road.

Further question on this. Can anyone Explain why the Thule Lift V16 says 'max capacity 50KG' 'max bike 30KG' Each bike? It says it can take up to 4 bikes or 2 electric. But 2 30KG would be 60KG so over the max limit. Confused.

The Fiamma carry bike lift 77 just says max 60kg
