Best place to buy solar panel MC4 extension cables?

Hi all,

Im fitting some solar panels on the roof soon. Ive gone for 3 x Renogy 100w panels which im going to wire in series.

Ive bought the panels and the mounts and the gland, just need some extra cable to run from the panels to the charge controller, and from that to the battery.

Im gonna be using a Victron 100 / 20 charge controller.

Just wondering if 10AWG 6mm2 wire is overkill for a series set-up and in any case where's best to buy the cables thats good value for money but also good enough quality that it wont degrade eg silicon coated etc.

Wiring on series is not the best option on a Motorhome, any shade on one panel and you will loose all your output.
Parallel is the better option as shade on one panel will no effect the output on the others.

What you need is two of these.
One is 3M to 1 F
the other is 3F to 1 M

I was hesitant about wiring in parallel because of the much larger current passing through three wires. If the cables aren't good enough then a lot of the power will be lost in resistance whereas if I wire in series only the voltage increases.

Will investigate further
