My Rapido motorhome had a soft floor due to an undetected water leak, so I had it repaired by a professional who injected something into it. Now the floor is less soft but looks a mess now due to all the holes.
I put down vinyl planks, which click together, but there is still too much flex in the floor and they have started to separate. There is a lot of traffic on the floor as it is used regularly...
What would you recommend I use?
Is it worth adding plywood, then thin vinyl over it?
I have a dog, so don't want to put down carpet, as it's hard to keep clean
All suggestions welcome...
Thanks, Helen

Difficult without actually seeing it and I'm not a relevantly qualified professional anyway but my first thought would be a sheet of the insulating board DIY shops sell for putting under laminate floor boards, just to give a relatively firm but even base, and top it off with something like cushionfloor (if they still make that) - essentially the modern version of linoleum, which comes in many lovely designs including very realistic imitation real wood and if you're lucky might be found super-cheap as an end of roll off-cut somewhere. (Maybe even gumtree or freecycle.)

I'm not sure that your floor should still by flexing that much if its been repaired properly?
Those vinyl planks are very hardwearing and are excellent if you have a dog. As you suggested plywood underneath would spread the load and help to stop the joints opening. You can buy lightweight ply which is still quite rigid. 6mm (or even 9mm if it won't affect any doors opening) won't weigh much but will prevent flexing. Then you can put your vinyl planks back on top.

How wide and long is the affected area ?if it's not to wide or long, perhaps one or two layers of something like this,
Mike.
