Green Flag is really great. Been recovered on bike and MoHo in France and Spain a few times. Never a problem

And the best thing is that you can get covered for a year, then when you get home, cancel and get full pro-rata refund

We took it out Driver Guardian policy never away more than 31 days they just charge a bit more for longer I think.

I’m with Green Flag through the Caravan club - no weight or length restriction on Motorhome plus it covers me driving or travelling in any vehicle.
Downside is you have to pay a supplement for going abroad through Caravan club / c&mc!
When I go abroad I’m covered with the add-on European breakdown cover that Comfort Insurance offer.
I looked at everyone a while back and got a shock that ADAC and RAC were the only ones with no weight or length limit. When I read the small print, there was always a snag with the rest of them I tried.

And me! I'll have to renew for 10 more years for them to recoup what they paid out last month to recover me,Alfie and the van.

IV just signed up with greenflag £75 for a year , but with an excess if they come out it costs me 40 quid. But if I have them out once it will still have only cost £115 which is way less than the others wanted.
Could work the other way, I know but will see how it goes.
They do all sizes the same.

Was with first4recovery last year but looking at some reviews this time I have gone back to greenflag, a lot of reviews said they couldn't contact f4r so tried quite a few times and I couldn't get through either, it said leave a message but then says they can't take any more messages, so chucked em into touch.

We took out RAC Arrival through the CCC. It gives extended cover timewise and covers large motorhomes. The same RAC cover isn’t available unless you go through the CCC for some reason, which is annoying.

We were unable to find cover elsewhere to match it. All were restricted either in duration or size of vehicle.

I have Green Flag through the Caravan Club but it is UK only. How much does the EU add on cost?

Like I said above. Get a year for about €150 . Then cancel when you get home

ADAC! They only renew existing UK customers. No new UK customers.
Has been mentioned on forum several times.

Most breakdown companies use euro assist in Europe they have multi lingual telephone service
We had to use them a few years ago and the sent a transit with a spectacle frame to lift a 4.5 t mh we were bouncing everywhere
