We’re buying a tv for our van, I was looking at Cello on Amazon and they don’t seem to get very good reviews, can anybody recommend a decent telly and a bracket which isn’t too beefy but does the job? Most brackets seem to be big enought to support a massive set. Thanks.

We've just purchased a Sniper 16" TV from Amazon for our MH. Only £179.00. It has a DVD player (which is really what we got it for), has freeview, two satellite options (still don't understand them!), will run off 12v and mains ehu and allows external hard drives to be attached. Seems like good value for money so far. Sound can be a little tinny but plan on buying a small sound bar from Asda (£30 for a Polaroid one) and connect it by Bluetooth, which the tv also supports. TV obviously comes with a remote. Haven't had time to try setting up channels yet but dvd works a treat. Its also very light so easy to remove when storing up for winter. Reviews were ok, good enough to take a punt on. Unfortunately, cannot advise on wall bracket as our MH came with one prefitted but just take a look at the Sniper on Amazon and scroll to the bottom to see what brackets people have purchased with it. Funnily enough, when I ordered it my partner said "isn't there a smaller one available?!" Nothing beats a good book in our eyes, certainly not a freakin' great tv!

Don't confuse the standard Cello with the Traveller version, the Traveller has a much better viewing angle and is 12v & has a sat tuner. We had a 19" Traveller in our last van and now have a 22" very pleased with them.

Good advice thanks, I was concerned about getting the right one!
