Well I think you’re amazing ! The effort to do this is incredible. I remember you posting wild swimming places as I was/am into that a couple of years ago. I’ve been travelling in a MH all over Europe for many many years but just don’t have the discipline to document it like you do. Well done…keep it up.
When I read of the account of the Bergues mele I was going to post that you should see Bergues on a normal day - quiet and sedate, but then I read towards the end that you had visited several times.
We use it before and after Channel crossings and like it for a very good delicatessen and some quiet restaurants.
Looks like an interesting stop off. I’ll try to avoid Cheese and vodka day. Usually we head to Bruges but somewhere new beckons.
Twice before without planning we ended up in Burgos on
El cid weekend and Gruissan festival, both in early October. The Aires were rammed full but we had a brilliant time partying with the locals. No good complaining about noise either.
