Looking for first MOHO and seen a few Benimar models that I really like. Mainly the Mileo 243 2015/16. Any reviews or help would be great

Hi.
Mate in Mansfield had one, loved it.

We have a Benimar, Marquis have been fine covering warranty issues so far.

Had a 2016 243 from new, really good, love it.
Hi. That’s the year I’m looking at. What is the payload situation with this model. Only running on a standard licence at the moment but in the fire service and will be doing my C1 in the near future but be good to know if I will have an issue before I complete that. Thanks.

There is a Dealership in Preston.
Looks a nice van. I did a repair on a shower room sink the other week { Mileo 201 }.
The sink was deep but made from flimsy plastic and the drain was damaged.
I managed to fit a larger sink drain with a larger back plate.
The kitchen sink tap was loose - 10mm rear nut was loose.
Hob sink glass was loose - clamps retightened.
New under cab seat leisure battery required.
Near side cab seat removed to access leisure battery.
A lot more bits and pieces to be undone than on the older vans with just 4 bolts.
On newer Peugeot Boxer / Fiat Ducato the majority of bolts are star drive that can easily be rounded off.
Similar snags found on most motorhomes. They easily break, especially the plastic light weight stuff.

My experience is well made, good level of equipment for money, ford chassis is far better than fiat.

Marquis on the other hand is another matter! Appalling customer service, wait months for spare parts and exorbitant charges for parts.

Agree re payload, get it across a weighbridge as in running order they weigh more than brochure weight. Other than that well equipped and no significant problems. Resale can be issue as my experience is dealers are not that interested in taking them in and price low.

We had a Mileo 201 for 3 years (2016 model). we loved it but echo some of the comments on here

The wardrobe door flew off when braking and damaged other panels as it careered down the van
The shower floor was really flimsy (flexing)and used to worry me every time I got in in (It didn't break though)
Marquis were shockingly bad but got there in the end
The Tambour door on the Loo/shower used to drive me me as did the sliding shower door in the shower cubicle

I would buy another though if I could reassure myself that the quality was better now
