Benimar
Hi everyone,
I have a Benimar with a green drain cap fitted to the bottom of the fresh water tank. It is sometimes difficult to unscrew so I would like to replace the cap with a fitting that I can connect an inline valve to ease draining.
Has anyone done this? I don’t know the size of the thread to order a fitting that will screw onto the threaded spout on the bottom of the tank so any help would be appreciated.
I have contacted Leisure Lines ans I noticed this suggestion in a previous discussion and they cannot help.
Thanks

Can you not just fit a connector straight to the tank, that's what is done on most instals.

Plenty of options here.

I've seen this come up often in the Benimar Owners Facebook group. You should check there and get the exact fitment you need. I've not done it but will get around to it.

Hi Thanks for your thoughts. None of the opinions work as the spout is a male type and is part of the moulding of the tank. It requires a female fitting that a valve can be connected to.
