Hello can any beer drinkers recommend a Dark Ale that is readerly available in Supermarkets and Bars please. TIA

Have a look at the end of the Beer thread.

Peavy may have some suggestions.

If you're referring to Belgian beers like Chimay, Leffe, or other major brands that make dark beer (Trappist beer), you can buy them at supermarkets like Lidl, Aldi, or Carrefour (the best option).
We don't traditionally make this type of beer industrially here, but you can look for a Doppelbock like Mahou Maestra or Voll Damm; both, being domestically brewed, are available at more mainstream supermarkets (like Mercadona).

Mercadona do a looky likely Voll dam. Not bad and half the price. Lidl do the Argus beer that comes in negra and suave, I'm told people mix one of each together. A few of the tostados are drinkable but the wine is better in Spain

Not exactly a dark ale but a similar taste to some English ales and sold in Mercadona and possibly other supermarkets in Spain.
