Evening, starting to look at options for next summer, and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for sites that are right on the beach. Coming from Scotland, we were thinking of the south of England with a view of catching some kind of sunshine!

Any feedback much appreciated

I am not aware of any sites right on the beach in the south of the country, but happy to be corrected. There are sites on the north coast of Norfolk but they tend to be on the top of cliffs. Church Farm in Aldeburgh, and one I can think of in Kessingland both in Suffolk are on the other side of the road from the beaches. Anywhere along the South Coast would be at a huge premium price wise, even if you can find them. You will find a good number a mile or so inland, but 'on the beach'? Sorry, but I suspect you will be out of luck.

But that's not 'on the beach'. Like Aldeburgh, it's the other side of the coast road.
You ai t going to get a y closer to the sea in Sussex and it's only a tiny road.

Start with New England Bay D&G near Stranraer.
Cheers, Dave

Uphill right on the lake and 5 min walk to the beach - als beside the river Ax . East fleet if u get the right spot no more than 20 fr from the beach . Highlands is only 150ft from the water - but it’s straight down the side of a very steep hill/cliff ;-)

Aah but there are easier inland routes from Highlands End Campsite https://wdlh.co.uk/holiday-parks/highlands-end/ to Eype beach & West Bay not just the steep coast paths!

Kintyre, Scotland, that's right o the beach, some nice paddles there as well.
