Hi All my first post before the new MH is picked up Tuesday. Excited is an understatement.

First port if call is to look at leisure batteries. 2 young kids tablets chargers. Fridges and heating to run, not forgetting 3pm sat to watch the football when possible. We are going to likely be going away fairly often (we re the type of family that wake up Friday and think should we get away for the weekend.)

So being able to go a full 7 days without a single worry on battery's would be awesome.

Also speaking about TVs. (Not sure which is in it currently. ) Are there options any one has tried which has projection abilities. From smart device to TV.

Ty. Much more questions to come.
Martin

Sounds like you will be needing a bit more than Leisure Batteries with that lot to cope with.....the Inverter Gang will be along shortly, I'm waiting for the Black Fri/ Cyber Monday sale to get a Batt Power Bank 🏦

You are going to need to tell people far more about what you currently have before you will get any useful advice.
I doubt you have LiFePo4 batteries on your new MoHo. What is the current set up? What is the current Ah of the existing battery(s)? How old are they?

P.S. Is it this one by any chance?:

Hi Martin,

Unfortunately, you'll discover that buying the van is just the start. :giggle:

You will probably need extra batteries and ways to charge them; such as a B2B which charges as you drive, and solar panels which will charge your batteries as long as you don't live in Wales. Please keep in mind that most people's camping will involve campsites, so there is always a convenient hook-up you can plug into.

Either way, you have exciting times ahead, do keep us posted (y)

Thanks Jim

I think I'll get it next week and find more info out. I'm aware I'll need another battery. I guess I need to ask more about how to get that connected with the other to allow for charging etc.

Don't worry about it, there will be no rush to get it perfect for you right away. You can add and tweak things as you go along. Take your time, it's quite a learning curve, but you'll find loads of help here. Have fun (y)

Don’t be afraid to ask on here, the only stupid question here is not asking it in the first place…😎

Welcome aboard, the kids are going to love it…☀️
