Hope someone can help, I am having problems with WA121545 not working,(has been sent to Apuljack for testing but sent back as no fault found, only just found out they do not test with sensors fitted) if i disconnect the sensors to it it works ok but will not work with them plugged in, both battery sensor voltages are correct so i suspect the battery temperature sensor.
Can anyone give me a normal resistance reading from a temperature sensor to compare with mine.
Thanks in Advance

The manual states that the temperature sensor has a temperature coefficient of -24mV/°C at 25°C. Because it is written that way, not as a resistance change per degree C, I would assume that the sensor is a thermocouple, not a heat sensitive resistor. You could look at the actual wires to see if the two wires look like they are made of two different metals - a thermocouple is a junction of two different metals.

To test the thermocouple, connect it to a multimeter and measure its voltage output, it should be about half a volt, ie 500mV or so. Then heat the junction (by holding it with your hand for example) and the voltage reading should change, by 24mV for every degree of change. It won't be exact, because conditions are not exactly right, but is should be 'summat like', as they say.
