Battery recall

Looks like the Office for Product Safety and Standards has started to take an interest in Chinese Lithium batteries. I wonder if this is just a start in battery recalls.
 
No BMS and dodgy construction. It was only a matter of time before cheap online batteries were shown to be a risky purchase. Far better to pay the proper price and get one from a reputable manufacturer.

very unprofessional description of fault: earthing? On DC?

It also said ' no discharge cut-off voltage, making it possible for the battery to overcharge and overheat'. How does a discharge cut-off voltage prevent overcharging?
