I have recently fitted a Fogstar 230Ah lithium battery to our Adria.
The lithium profile on the NDS solar controller is not ideal as it charges at 14.6v. The NDS controller also charges the starter battery. Currently the wiring goes from the NDS controller to the 3 pin solar connection on the ebl. If I upgrade to a Victron solar controller, can a battery master be connected to the output terminals on the Victron? The third wire to the starter battery (previously connected to the NDS) will not be connected to the Victron so that can be used to connect the battery master to the starter battery. I know you can connect a battery master to a b2b but I don’t remember reading about anyone connecting it to a solar controller.

Yes you can connect a BatteryMaster to a solar controller. If the solar controller charges both the leisure and starter batteries, it can be connected to the leisure positive, starter positive and common negative.

If the solar controller only charges the leisure battery, then the BatteryMaster can be connected to the leisure positive and leisure negative, but another wire to the starter positive will be required. In your case, that wire is already in place, and can be used for that purpose.

It's less common to wire a BatteryMaster to a dual solar controller because there's less need for a BatteryMaster if the solar charges both batteries. It's still useful, especially if the motorhome is stored under cover so there is no solar input.
