Battery Master - route to engine batt

McLouis Fusion 331. Battery Master. So I decided to site it under the driver's seat for easy access to view the status LED and for direct access to the leisure battery positive - on the load side of the isolator. I also routed a nice ground to the driver's door step. So it's installed and working but I haven't found a good route to the engine battery yet - it's on a flying lead at the moment. Anyone know of a good route - from under the driver's seat?

Being a Fiat and depending on the year it may have the engine battery either under the floor between the front seats or it's in the engine bay on pre 2006 models. (y)
 
The BatteryMaster starter battery connection only carries a small trickle charge, about an amp, so the connection can be a thin wire, and it can piggyback on any existing more substantial connection to the starter battery. You will find such a connection at the distribution/fusebox, or at the B2B if there is one fitted.

Another possibility is if you have a dual solar charge controller, that trickle-charges the starter battery - there will be a suitable connection there. All these options are usually easier than routing a wire all the way to the starter battery.
 
It's the 2021 model - the engine battery is under a panel under the passenger's feet. I can go direct under the flooring but it's a bit awkward to lift the flooring and there's no conduit so it's not ideal as the wire could get abraded over time. Or I could look for a conduit route to the engine battery compartment. Or I could look for a route up to the fuse box in the dash by the driver's door.
I think I'd rather go to the engine battery side of all components - i.e. the battery side of all fuses or other components. So that if a fuse blows the supply is cut full-stop, without exception. If I go load-side of any component then if a fuse blows, the Battery Master will supply 12v intermittently to a circuit that should be permanently dead.
Similarly, that's why I went to the load side of the leisure battery isolator, rather than the battery side - so that if I isolate the leisure battery, it is fully isolated and cannot feed 12v out anywhere.
