Hi All,

In connection with my other question posted HERE, does anyone here use an isolator to physically disconnect the vehicle battery to protect it while parked off grid for long periods, or while in storage?

And if so, how easy is it to fit a breaker, which would also act as a security device?

Something hid in the footwell maybe?

TIA

Siblo

My garage fitted one for me in the footwell, intended to prevent excess drainage.
Battery still went flat.

I have one that disconnects the starter lead & also everything on the dash. I use it & remove key every time I stop/park .
