Please be gentle, I am a novice will the green yuans battery be suitable to replace the Yuasa white one

If you do replace with the yuans battery you will need to change your charging profile to AGM
It will be much simpler to replace with an ordinarily flooded lead acid battery of the same size, which will probably be cheaper.
AGM batteries are best for stopstart cars. Some have had problems with using them as leisure batteries

Apologies, I missed the AGM on the green one.
If your charger and solar if fitted has an AGM setting then yes, it's ok.
If not then stick to a regular lead acid.

At £240 they are taking the p!ss....you may as well go lithium

Agreed.

For example, Fogstar Drift Eco 100Ah (which actually gives you twice the usable amount of energy as a 100Ah AGM) is £219.99

I'm sure there are even cheaper examples out there.

The battery proposed was to small , so not sure the cables would reach, so I opted for a Halfords battery, not sure the type, will check when back at storage, thanks for help

Halfords own brand I believe are made by Yuasa.
