Is it ok to leave my motorhome on permanent charge from my house electrics when it isn't being used for a while..especially over winter periods..
Thanks....

Personally I would not leave it on the charger but would switch that off and invest in an Optimate. They are designed to keep batteries in condition for months on end. I use them on my motorbikes.

They only charge at a low rate so no danger of overcharge

Thanks..I have got an optimate for the car when I go away, but I plug the van into the socket in my garage, and it charges the vehicle battery and leisure battery, then switches off automatically so it doesn't overcharge...I was wondering if leaving it on for what may be a few weeks is OK, or should I turn off for a few days then put back on charge for a few days, and keep doing it like that...

Why not put a programmable timer on the mains switch ? Ours will just put the power on for a few hours every three days, easy keeps the batteries fully charged.

I got a BG Home smart socket and set a timer to come on for 3 hours (1130pm until 0230am) twice a week.

If its a smart charger then yes.
If its an old dumb charger then no.
If you aren't sure put it on charge for a day each week.
