Hi.
Viewed a few posts about battery master in last couple days but this would be of no benefit to me.
Van is parked on my secure driveway in the winter, have EHU if needed, when not in use I take it out for a run every 7-10 days to get the engine up to temp, charge the engine batt, blow the cobwebs out and avoid the possibility of stiction problems. Would consider one if we were likely to be parked up on site for long periods.
But, while reading posts on battery masters the load output on mppts was mentioned; which got me wondering.
What practical uses are there for the load output on a Victron mppt 100/20 ?
Thanks in advance.
Happy Jack.

What practical use? well for 99% of us as motorhomers most likely none, I believe it can be used to switch on lighting so possibly marker lights on a boat at night or even some bling or security cameras on your motorhome, It can run a small load which will automatically disconnect at a given voltage so protecting the battery, apparently it can be used to signal a battery protect cut-off at a given voltage so thereby removing all loads, I am sure some clever people will have thought of another uses.

Thanks,
Literature on it isn't clear.

Load output is designed specifically for street lighting. You can adapt a relay to be energized by the load output setting, to turn on a larger load.
In the manual it is covered under street lighting, as these controllers are used on lamp posts with a panel to supply a light above it.

Ok, thanks Raul. I do remember now that you mention it.
