Turned heating up to 25 degrees and it comes on but that means same in habitat which is too hot. Thought it might work on any temperature?

Could still need bleeding. As it's so tall it's more likely to retain air at the top as most other rads will be lower. I've never had to bleed one but assume it's not difficult and bet info is on YouTube somewhere 👍

Sounds like an air lock to me as well, when you turn the heating up probably getting some heat transfer but water is not flowing through that rad properly.

I would check the fluid level in the Alde tank, if not I think as Lenny said air is the problem so yourl need to bleed the air out. Bit odd though we have the same system and same radiator ( which is only a pipe under the rad like cover ) and never had to top it up or bleed it.

Where is the radiator? If it is a the rear of the mh drive to a hill with the front pointing down. The radiator should be the highest point so any air in the system will be there. Bleed the radiator.
