Hi all

I have arranged a meet at the Barnard Castle Steam Fair which will be taking place on:

29th, 30th & 31st of MAY 2010.
at Sreatlam Farm, Barnard Castle, County Durham, DL12 8TZ

We had a meet there last year and it was a cracking weekend. Click on the link below to see all the events taking place.

The cost is £50 for the whole weekend inclusive of entry fee and camping from Friday to Tuesday if you want to stay that long. Vehicles staying until the Tuesday must be off by the lunchtime.

When you arrive, you will need to fill out a form and then pay.

Please let me know if you want to join us and I will put you on the list of attendees.

I'm going to accept 12 vans for now but there may be a possibility of more. When you ask for a place can you also let me know the length of your vehicle please.

See you there - not long for this one.

Pammy

Hi Pammy,
You are becoming a right train spotter:Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1: Then I realised it was a Steam rally.
Sounds like a good meet, unfortunately a little to far for us as we are heading to Europe.

Always wanted to go do Barnard Castle as thats my maiden name, so its a shame that we cant make it.

Have fun

Pat

Bringing this one to the top to bring it back to your attention. This will be an extended meet from the Friday until bank holiday Monday or you can stay until Tuesday lunchtime if you wish and it will cost you no more for the privilege:thumb:

Went there a couple of years ago and loved it.

Stayed at the C&CC Club site just up the road.

Spur of the moment thing and was not able to get a pitch at the show.

Staying on site should be fun.:thumb:

Have a great time Guys.

Thanks for that Steve - like I said in my first post, we did this last year and we all had a great time.

We are camped in the same area as last time, right in the middle of the event so if the campers are suffering a little from the night before they will not have too far to walk to the stalls and side shows

Hi Leanne

No particular set up rules apply with Fun except you arrive, you get set up, you get your chairs, tinnies, barbecues, and just have a good time with the rest of the funsters.:thumb:

I should imagine Geo and I will not arrive until about teatime on the Friday so chances are some of the others arriving before us will already have their beers/wine flowing, but give us 5 mins and our drinks will be flowing as well.

Don't forget when you arrive at the site there will be a form to complete and your payment to make.

If you need to fill up with water when you get there just ask the nice man on the gate and he will direct you.

See you there
