Barnard Castle Steam fair

Hello everone,

Thinking of organising a rally to the steam fair if any one is interested.

This will be taking place on the 22, 23, 24 and 25 May Bank holiday weekend,

I have spoken to the organisers and there is no problem with size or numbers

Camping for the full weekend fri to Tue £50 2 adults and 2 children

Please let me know if anyone is interested

Large steam engines
Minature steam engines
showmans engines
vintage cars
tractors
living wagons and classic caravans
vintage trucks
diggerland rides and funfair for the kids.

Tractor pulling and the north east heats of britians strongest man

Licensed Bar and nightly entertainment - food stalls

Disabled toilets, Flush toilets and showers on site

Well done for trying to get some Funsters together :thumb::thumb:I am sure you will get a few. I am working that bank holiday weekend, otherwise we would have had a run up, I enjoy photographing steam engines, they fascinate me since having the mamod working miniatures as a kid

We are aiming to go. Have printed the booking form off from the internet. Not been to Barnard Castle Steam Fair before, so thought we would give it a try.

Please when filling in booking form add that you are part of motorhome fun,

Then they will direct you to our area when you arrive.

That's great Ray, something must be blocking our computer because I just get a blank screen when I go to the download page, anyway they are sending a form by snail mail.

Does the £50 also include entry fee per day or is this extra.

I believe that this includes entry into the fair as the camping is inside the showground.

I will give them a ring, tomorrow but may not be there until monday.

got our form and some extra have rang up for the aug bank hol event the truck show so will b gatting forms to book up for that and save a tenner
