We hope to get the Ferry from Barcelona to Italy in the summer. Would one of you more experienced folk recommend a parkup fairly close to the Ferry Terminal. Can you stay overnight at the Terminal. Any advice welcome please.

I recently watched this guy’s video which may be of interest. (Going other way Rome to Barcelona). The click bait title is referring to his particular crossing which turned out to be a party crossing for students and the ship itself ok.

I go through the port at Barcelona at least twice a year and would never stop within an hour of the city.
I always aim to get to the port 2 hours before boarding.
As far as I know there isn't any parking in the port area to 'overnight'

We parked here when we did a 10 day cruise.
We got a deal through the cruise line, that was quite good, but not sure what the normal rate is.

I agree, plenty of Safe places and campsites within 1 - 2 hours.

Car broken into parked just outside the port and van broken into after leaving the port whilst I slept.....
Wouldn't advise leaving any foreign registered vehicle unattended in Barcelona.......
