The only one I can find on maps is Bamberg and it's above Nuremberg, yes it's worth a visit as far as I can remember.

Bamberg great for beer.....👍

Cheers🍻

Eindoven
Brandenburg
Warsaw (to meet brother who is bus-ing it from Kiev)
Krakow (with brother. He will then go back to Kiev)
Bamberg on way home + one other place to be decided.

Oh, in the car/hotels.

Bamberg(Germany),worth a visit, with a stellplatz within walking distance of the town. We noticed the small metal plates set in the pavements outside some of the previously owned Jewish houses, which detail the past owners families births and death in 1939/40s.

Bamburg is really beautiful and well worth a visit.
Loved it there.
We street parked out of town so can’t comment on the Stelplatz

Some people do not pay attention.

When I read Krakow(post #6) I was about to offer you the 'Aire' in our yard( Katowice just 4km off A4) until I saw car/hotel, and spare room is occupied by Basia's Sister.

A few years ago we visited the Nurburgring. My wife spoke to some people there who had previously accidentally sat navved themselves to Nuremberg.

Had the van serviced at Bamburg so had the day walking around, it’s ok with a bit to see and if you walk over the bridge into the old part there is a walk up the hill to a big old church.

I've booked Zulian Hotel in the old town for 3 nights.

Do you want any sightseeing or restaurant recommendations? - Basia and her |Sister were there a few days ago
I would much appreciate that.
It's a boy's trip only. I am meeting my brother in Warsaw.
We have 3 full days in Warsaw and 3 in Krakow.
I have done the Salt Mines (cannot remember where they are, and of course Autswitze?/Berkinow?) brother has not so they are on our itin.

Sounds like you’re going to need something for a little light relief, looking at your itinerary!🙂
