Bailey Advance 764
Hi everyone,

We picked up our 2018 764 on Friday and during the handover we were shown that both the fresh and waste tanks were at 0% on the control panel. We tried to put fresh water in yesterday but after a matter of seconds the tank overflowed (it wasn't empty at the handover). Switched on the pump on the console and opened the taps to get rid of the water because we didn't know how long it had been in there. Nothing from the taps? I've read that newer Bailey motorhomes pumps won't work is the gauge is 0%. Any suggestions. I think I've tried everything that I've read in the Bailey manual and seen on various forums. Am I missing something really simple? Sorry but we're total noobs to motorhomes.

You will need to empty the tank (remove the bung from the bottom of the tank if it is an Autograph model) then reset the level indicator (I think the instructions for this are on this site somewhere if you search for them) then refill the tank, or better still go back to the dealer and get them to do it as it should have been checked by them.

I know nothing but could the frost control valve be open?

The pump on my Bailey won't work when the display shows below about10% and would definitely not work at 0%. If you hold the pump switch on on the control panel the pump will work untill you let it go. Only way to fix is empty tank and recalibrate. Not sure how you do that in your model though.

Our Bailey has the Seattle control panel and I've managed to recalibrate. I guess it may be a different process depending on panel.
