Hi. We got stuck in our motorhome and bottomed it out. All is well apart from it pulled the fresh water drain pipe out of the bottom of the tank. There now seems to be a part missing. It is maybe a screw in 90 degree fitting under the tank? Anyone able to give me an idea how to replace or fix please. The blue pipe is still underneath but, with nothing on the end under the tank, just the tap end for opening or closing.

Hi, i think on the Bailey you can access the fresh water tank from under the bed, has an access lid. You should be able to get a new 90degree elbow and install from the access lid. Not sure if it’s 15mm or 22mm you will need to check and purchase the appropriate 90 deg tank connector elbow.

Hi, the fresh water drain on my 2017 Autograph 796 is a straight outlet from the bottom of the tank with a rubber bung in it, in order to empty the tank I just open the lid (access panel in the floor) and pull the bung out, not sure when I will be at the van next but will try and photograph underside of the tank when next there (probably up to a week before I can do this but hopefully someone else will beat me to it)

Get air suspension fitted or it will happen again ! I just pushed the blue pipe back in and was fine but then again got rid off van to many issues .

Thanks for the feedback. We are considering suspension upgrades….. any recommendations and proposed costs in your experience? Cheers for now..
