Bailey Advance 66-2
Exp
Since Sept ‘21.
In our Bailey Advance, we have 4 reading lights. 2 have USB ports, and 2 don’t. I want to swap one of the USB ones with a non-USB one. The non-USB one has a screw fixing it the locker, so it’s easy to get it off, but the USB one doesn’t, and I can’t see how to remove it. Any ideas? I don’t want to try twisting or prising it off, for fear of breaking it.

Sorry to see there are no replies from people with actual relevant knowledge so just in case you need the reassurance that your question has actually been seen.....

My approach would be either:
Leave them as they are and get an extension lead like this one to run from existing socket to your appliance or device https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/35383302...d=link&campid=5338547443&toolid=20001&mkevt=1

Or

Check with Bailey or elsewhere the availability of a replacement unit so you can remove the offender with whatever force seems required with the confidence that it won't be catastrophic if you break it in the processe

Good luck!

Thanks for your help. I actually managed to get the light off - it turns out that the USB lights are ‘twist fit’, so a slight anti-clockwise twist releases them.
