My man on the ground "Bengie" (John Williams) the new member who has offered to do the "Hog Roast"..

It will be held on Saturday October 13th... Has just phoned me from Bagwell Campsite..

He has asked for a certain pitch so as to accomodate his RV and Spit Roast Trailer/machine ...

I was struggling on this one, but a new member came to my rescue and is bringing a "Purpose Built" Hog Roaster..

The Hog has been ordered, Bengie is doing a load of Roast Tatty`s and also supplying Apple Sauce...

It`s a good size Hog... and I`m working on the lines of there being approx 50 - 60 mouths to feed...

So plenty and some for every one...

The purpose of this thread is to keep you informed... and

Publicly Thank Bengie for his fantastic offer...

A new member (On RVOC) who has thrown himself whole heartedly at the club..

Thanks Bengie, (John)... will be much appreciated by all...

Still plenty of room for "Funsters" at this meet..

See Bagwell Farm Meet.... in Rallys & Meets... :thumb:

Going to be an Indian summer, according to the news this morning... :thumb:

Big thanks to all concerned. And make sure you're not out of pocket, I'm fed up with paying ££££ for a scrap of dry pork and a dry bun at shows, I don't care what a proper job piece costs.

Now what wine should I be buying ????? A good German white with the sweetness to match the pork, or should it be dryer with sweet meet. Or Aldi's bargain of the day ?</fx></fx>
