My uncovered wheel nuts on my Hymer are going rusty after 10 years. I read on Baden87's post (May 19, 2020 the advice given, amongst other things, was to use

ACF50 Anti Corrosion Spray

and then cover my metal nuts with plastic wheel nuts.

I've also seen this stuff:

ACF-50 CB Grease

Which is best? Spray or grease? Please. I don't propose to take the wheels off to give the nuts a thorough clean, some anti-rust paint, and a painted top coat. I just want the existing nuts to look better. Oh, and there are a few other rusty bits on the chassis that could do with some treatment.

ACF 50 is great stuff to prevent rust and would highly recommend. Bikers swear by it

Another vote for ACF50, great stuff. If you know the spanner size for your wheel nuts/bolts then a Google search will bring up loads of plastic cover caps. They come in colours or chrome.
