This is a bit OT but the only place I could think of that might have an answer is from those who use a site like this one.
We need to send a backup system to offer power to a Combi boiler and/or a fridge (minimum requirements). THe integrated "EcoFlow" system is absurdly expensive and basically only 80ah. However we can buy a 200ah battery, charger and sine wave inverter for about the same price. The problem is that the elderly family are completely non-technical. The connections need to be safe and not needing constant re-configuring. I'm sure that there's an easy way to do this and I've seen some suitable quick release battery clamps etc but it needs to be pretty simple and idiot-proof. The discount on the Eco Flow device expires today so we need a solution - if possible - asap.
Any help would be appreciated - things are going to get very, very bad in Ukraine - as if they weren't already bad enough.
Thanks in advance
Stepan

Might be worth considering a Victron Multiplus 500 Inverter/charger. You can get them for about £300 retail, maybe others could source them cheaper, I'm no good at bargain-hunting.

The inverter and charger are integrated together, and synched to the incoming mains supply. It can be permanently connected to the mains supply. If the mains goes off, it will switch to the inverter seamlessly. When the mains comes back on, it will automatically charge up the battery ready for next time, while powering the appliances. All you need for a backup system is one of these, with a battery. Once set up, it 'just works'.

I have something similar in my motorhome, but bigger. A Multiplus 3000 with 600Ah of Lithium batteries, so I know it works reliably.

I'm sorry I cannot help but good luck(y)
