Hi ,everyone,
Got back yesterday from three weeks away in Cornwall at Cosawes Park camping/ caravan park. We had a great time even though it was a bit chilly! A good test for the Mirage which it passed with flying colours. The only prolem was a frozen grey-water tank after -8 oC on the next to last day. We kept the van warm with just 1 x1000w oil -filled heater most of the time, but on the last couple of nights we put a 700w heater on too. These were more than enough to cope with the conditions. The site was very good too with fully serviced pitches for just £14 p/night and as a bonus we got 7 nights for the price of 6! The site is midway betweeh Truro and Falmouth so is handy for visiting many local attractions which we did in the Smart . This we towed on an A frame again with no problems. On our way back we stayed at the Caravan Club site at Moreton in Marsh for 4 nights. This again was very good for visiting around - unfortunately we couldn't see anything because of the freezing fog! but once it cleared we had a few trips out , the hoar frost on the trees was a site to see but it looked so drab once it had gone. On the way home we called at Towtal in Stoke to have the brake cable adjusted on the a frame which they did without charge and did it as soon as we arrived. Would recommend this firm to anyone considering an a frame.
Thats about it for now, will try to upload some pics if i can
Regards and happy New Year to everyone
