In the '60s and discussing bikes with a bunch of like-minded friends I made the astounding discovery that Triumphs (and the rest) had twin cylinder engines where the pistons went up and down together. It put me off them then, I never wanted one, and even now I wouldn't want an oldie parallel twin. Horrible things.What......a Triumph WITHOUT a parallel twin, whatever next.
