Im upping my lithium capacity so I feel the 30a orion charger will be on the small side for my 300ah
I stumbled on this one, MPPT and B2b in one seems cheap.
Anyone have any comments at all ?

Ill have 400w of solar on the roof feeding 300ah (maybe 400) of Lithium batts from KS Energy, I like the victon gear but they dont seem to do anything higher than 30a...is there a reason I wonder ???

Amazon product ASIN B07SJGLGY8

Tim Terry's video following that poses some concerns with the unit.
This guy is clearly concluding that this Renogy unit is not fit for purpose. Earlier on he admits he hasn't read the manual and doesn't know that BTS = Battery Temperature Sensor. He thinks BVS is the Battery Voltage Sensor, but says he doesn't know which battery to connect it to. He doesn't say which battery, if any, he connected it to in the test rig. He clearly doesn't understand what a voltage sensor does, and how important it is to the functioning of the final output voltage.

Not only that, but he connects the solar to a fixed voltage power supply, and expects the Maximum Power Point Tracking algorithm to maximise the amps. And he's published his 'conclusions' on the internet before he got a reply from the manufacturer. Embarrassing:blush:

Was that because the cable rating was not man enough to take the extra load of your second B2B?
Good question, I ran another cable run from the starter battery because I couldn't site them adjacent to each other so it seemed the easiest option for me. I used 16mm2 cable for both so I'm guessing I would have to have invested in some bus bars to parallel them together if close by as with the Victron 12|12 30A terminals the max cable input size is 16mm2
