So my new poppylll, it has one of those new type rear view cameras, instead of a mirror, when you are driving forward, it shows the rear view, it’s good. When you select reverse gear, (Auto gearbox) the second camera automatically kicks in and you get a clear view when reversing up to what ever is behind you. But, I have fingers and they are prone to touching switches and buttons, so what have I touched? Now when I select reverse, the camera goes blank and I have to touch an arrow down to turn it on, what do I do to turn it back on to auto on selecting reverse gear?
Any advise much appreciated…if you are one of those geniuses please use: press button a, then press button c, etc…
(I know, yes I’m a numpty, I should keep my little grubbie’s in my pocket, but I’m a bloke, I have a man cave, I’m married and have blue blood running through my veins. I own tools for gods sake, I get the bbq going with diesel soaked pride flags).

It should have a settings function on it try touching the screen and see if you get a drop down box with options on it🤔

Mmmm.. there’s no back window! I’ll be looking at the fridge or bathroom door, then I have problems, I’ll be thinking, mmmm beer, cold beer, in the fridge, I’ll drink two or three, then it’ll be bathroom, I need the bathroom, so I’ll pull over, I’ve not set up the loo so when in that lay-by, not wanting to scare the wild life, I’ll reverse somewhere where I can hide behind a tree, then because I can’t see behind me I’ll reverse into a tree.. oh no! not a soft wood tree, it’ll be a bloody big oak tree! Na I’ll stick to the electric mirror camera. I’ll l take Speve’s advise, it’s more sensible…

I assume you do not have an instruction manual?
If not Google the type of system you have for a manual. I onow its not a bloke thing to read instructions, but this may help.

That is about as much use as a chocolates fireguard.
Did you get with all the paperwork and gubbins that came with the vehilce, a cardboard box which the camera screen would have been supplied to Swift before they fitted it. If you have that it could have some instructions.

Did you get it sorted? There is a Funsters selling a camera kit in the classifieds. If its the same as yours asked them for advice.

Sorry for late reply.. Poppylll is in Storage at Kidsgrove, she comes home tomorrow, the paint and seal on my drive has had 14 days to fully go hard, so 4,5 tonne Poppylll won’t rip up the paint, (hopefully)
All my operating manuals and paperwork is in the MoHo.

I’ll be looking through the manuals and pushing the buttons on the rear view viewing screen and seeing what happens.

I am giving her a good clean and a bobbydazzler polish/wax, ready for 2 and a bit weeks setting off on my jollies around Europe.

If I can’t work it out, I’ll ask Lowdhams to show me..

That would be, I paid a year before I realised Poppylll would easily fit on my drive. But as I have 3 cars, a BMW, a Ford and a SEAT I’ll keep the space at Smithsons.. it’s useful, is yours there or have you room on your drive?

We moved to Kidsgrove from Congleton in 2012. We were looking for a bungalow with enough room to park a caravan. We found 9ne with 2 drives and a big area outside the front of the property with the added bonus of having plenty of flora and fauna to keep away prying eyes. Also very good neighbours. I fill up with LPG at the coal yard but its a bit tight with ours sometimes. We just live round tge corner.

My Business is in Congleton, it’s run by a management team, while I retired early, I moved it to Congleton in 2008.
The pretty Flamingo and I are in Tunstall.
We have been looking for a bung-it-low for some time, just can’t find a 3-4 bed with En-suite, lounge, Diner, Kitchen, Utility, double garage and parking for our large Poppylll 7.98 metres long.. I like her on my drive. That way I can say to my pretty come on girl, let’s go somewhere nice and Poppylll is sat outside ready to go..

Haa problem solved, ok so I just pressed buttons to see what happened and after hitting them 6-7 times it’s back on auto.. do not ask which buttons in which order I pressed, I just pressed them all randomly, but now, no more little grubbie’s pressing buttons. I’ll leave it working… there’s a manual in the pack I’ll read it one day soon, one day when it’s raining….
