anyone fitted an awning rail to an Autocruise Wentworth, beneath the wind out canopy awning ?

I have fitted one to the underside of my Thule wind out awning as I needed to fit the awning closer to the van and also the rail on the front section of the wind out was not suitable and would not close when awning fitted due to weight sagging the wind out rail I pop riveted it to the bottom and it works well.
