The leg has come off our Fiamma F45 awning. Nothing seems broken, but to get the leg back on, I need to remove the plastic bit that the leg slides onto. Any ideas how I get that off? There’s a hex nut, which I’ve removed, but I think it probably has to slide off the end. In which case I probably need to remove the plastic end cap. Again, any ideas?

Have a look at this, it is in German but its very clear and detailed, turn the volume down and watch ...... unless you understand German of course.....😬

I used this when I did my F45s replacement ends a while ago....

Also useful, thanks. The hardest part was getting the end-stop off - people talk about wiggling it, but in our case it needed WD40 and a bit of brute force, with a rubber mallet. All done now. However, there’s a residual problem, in that the awning doesn’t retract fully - it seems to have got twisted in the storm-related episode. So, back to YouTube research!
