Hi All,

I'm picking up my Swift Royale 620 (1995) next week and I'm keen to get on the road.

There's no awning but there are brackets. Anybody have any idea what awning these are for so I can be lazy and just buy the one that fits this without having to dust off the drill and do some damage.

Thanks for any answers.

It looks very like the brackets for my Fiamma 465 awning. But it was over 3 years since I fitted it, so I may not be right. A side view to show the profile might be helpful.

Rose Awnings

I've got an 18 year old 'van with the original awning. One of the 'elbows' failed. They posted a replacement to me within 24 hours. They really do know their stuff when it comes to awnings.

I'm interested in this thread because, if the OP's brackets are the same as on our van, I'll be able to unscrew the lower screw and 'slide' the awning forward to cover the door better.

Going by the fact that it's got a flat bottom it looks to be a Fiamma one:

The Thule/Omnistor has a curved bottom bit:

Yes you can but don't leave too much unsupported as the box will twist. you could of course add a bracket above the door though

Just make sure that the part of the awning that the bracket is holding and is then screwed on is where the strong supporting part of the awning is.
