Hi all, we are about to order a tv for the new motorhome but want to make sure we will be able to watch Netflix and prime - avtex don’t show images on their site and I can’t find any information anywhere that says they are included.
Has anyone got one of these that can help please?
Yes I want an avtex as we want the option of sky and streaming in one box.
TIA

We have the Avtex 27” smart TV and Netflix and Amazon are not included as far as I know.

Is there a reason you particularly want the Avtex rather thay say, an LG or Samsung?
The flexibility mainly and the fact that it has freesat and streaming channel - doesn’t look like it will be an avtex based on the last comment though. I’m not against any of the other brands at all - just wanted one box covers all if possible.

Plus we have limited space - the Avtex allows to to have a 27” In the space LG doesn’t due to the frame around the screen.

That’s a shame - are you able to check please? Thanks
It's certainly not included on ours but specs change all the time and I did read that it might be added in the future so the only sensible thing really is to ring Avtex and see what they say.

Could be better and cheaper to install an Inverter just for the TV - and sound bar.

Get an Amazon Firestick and you can get everything as long as your tv has a hdmi socket.(y)

I don’t believe these TV’s have Freesat but the more basic Free to Air satellite.
I think these are the same thing. The Avtex and many other smart TVs have DVB-S/S2 & DVB-T/T2 tuners so can receive Freeview through an aerial and Freesat through a sat dish.

I would sell you my 10 month old Ferguson 22” ( made by Cello in Uk) that fit perfectly in my recently sold Elddis 175
It has built in sat receiver and smart caoability
If you are interested I will dig the bix out of the lift and send full spec

This would save you a pile of money

Just look at mainstream TV, I don't understand why people buy Avtex or Cello unless they need 12v

UPDATE
I have just found out from my wife that I have changed my mind about selling this, so apologies, please do not make an offer
😂😂

We are ready to buy a tv for our MV.
Totally and utterly confused (don't take much)
Don't want to be paying out £450 for a telly one can get for £250.
Want a telly that will show the free stations, netflix and prime is about all. Oh and of course films i have downloaded from something like those @@@@@ bay sites.
Suggestions welcomed.

Another vote for firestick, takes its power from a USB on the TV
I had mine working ok like that but it would not update until I had it on mains power so have now wired it into my mains system..😁

Just get a fire stick, any dodgy films you have are probably on a tablet, so you just need a hdmi cable and Bobs your Auntie👍

I would try get a tv with at least 2 HDMI ports and maybe an arc port ( handy if you want a soundbar in the future) most decent TVs now should have all this, if you use an I pad, you can get the connectors from Mr Bezos corner shop, happy hunting👍

I have a 24” sharp smart tv in the van that runs off 12v, a lot of domestic TV’s these days are the same.
