Hello there, I have a new installation I need to stop auto rearming. I have a 5 digit pin and the instructions of how to input this to turn off the alarm if the remote does not work.

I was after the information and steps needed once the pin has been inputted to program out the auto rearem feature.

I am waiting a callback from Autowatch as to how to do this as well as investigate the alarm goes off if I full set it with the ultrasonics enabled. It does not go off when set if I double tap the ARM button on the AW Autowatch remote.

Thank you.

I'll have a go at this. So I dont need my pin. Just input 1,2,3 to be in prog mode, then input 8,6 and get two beeps for that feature to be OFF. When I have finished is there a SAVE or required EXIT method or just turn off ignition? I see it says refer to section 8.0 for features 8.5 and 8.6 do you also have details of this ? Many thanks so far...yes you will hear my success and failures over the next hour....
I did this after the 10th attempt. The trick is when you have inputted 1,2,3 to be in prog mode the blue LED stays on ONLY for about 2 secs. I found it important to turn OFF IGN while the LED is still in this 2 second window, then this starts the flashing sequence for you to count the parameter you are wanting to change...

Hi and welcome to the forum.

To stop auto rearming you will need to program it to off by using option 8,6 in the alarms programming features.

Programming is done by ignition on/off's and watching the blue LED mounted in the "A" post of the driver's side windscreen.
The LED flash codes take a bit of getting used to, and serious concentration is required to count the flashes, but if you make a mistake or forget where you are in the sequence, then just wait for a little over 10 seconds or switch the ignition off and it will not log your mistake.

The section highlighted in green is what you want.
Your best print off the instruction and I find having the missus calling out the sequence saves me losing my place in the sequence and having to start again.

I'll listen out for the swearing, as I'm sure there will be some. :ROFLMAO:

Good luck and let me know if you need any more help.

You will need to first enter your 5 digit pin code and then the 1,2,3 to enter the programming mode. (y)

Switching off the ignition and leaving off for say 20 seconds and after the last digit and beeps is saving the programming.

I entered the 8, 6 as detailed and got TWO alarm Beeps to signify OFF. I am gussing this will toggle to ON if I were to enter 8,6 again and then I would get ONE alarm Beep. Thank you for this. Next stage is I removed batteries ( the CR2032 button cell) from my internal hab area PIR and two garage door switches. I set the alarm fully and it has not gone off. I then put batteries back in the PIR and after 30 secs of setting the alarm goes off. So perhaps a faulty PIR. No reason for it going off, no heating on no sunlight, batteries good and about 7deg C. Will ask for a replacement PIR.

When you arm the alarm, it is not fully armed immediately, as it will only go to it's fully armed state after it's self test routine of about 30 seconds, also when you insert a battery into a sensor it has to go through a self test routine before it becomes operational as well, so don't assume that you PIR or wireless sensors are faulty before testing them properly.
You can test this semi armed state by arming the alarm and then opening and closing a cab door, say within the first 20 seconds, and the alarm should not sound.
