Just bought our first motorhome Autotrail Frontier Navajo love great condition.....just a question really how do I sanitiser the fresh water system on my MH.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I use liquid fresh water cleanser, note the dilution instructions and pour it into a bottle. Add water to the bottle and pour into water filler, then fill tank from hosepipe (you could just pour the sanitiser straight into water filler and then fill tank).

I then draw some water through the taps/shower to sanitise the feed pipes.

Do not use MILTON.. as there are reports it damages the stainless steel within the boiler.

PURICLEAN seem's to be the thing people recommend the most..

I use citric acid on my Autotrail Savannah. Run through boiler and taps,, left overnight then put a couple of tanks full to flush. Has the added bonus of cleaning the level probes.

Citric Acid can also be used, and will descale the boiler elements.
There'll be threads on the best way to do the job.Heating the water also helps. Make sure to rinse plenty of clean water through the system afterwards.
The cleaning solution can be run off into the grey waste tank, where it will also give that a good clean, especially if you take the van out for a run when it's been in there a while.
