Autotrail Daewoo microwave

Me microwave packed in last week.
Removed it from van and found that the plastic wrapper was still fitted completely with sign stating that it must be removed prior to fitting.
Autotrail are not interested and state that it is out of warranty and that it would be the responsibility of the original dealer and not the manufacturer.
Original dealer no longer trading.
I suggested to Autotrail that a goodwill gesture of £50 might be in order as this was my second Autotrail.
They are not willing to look at such a gesture as I cannot prove that they fitted the microwave. Has anyone had a similar experience with the microwave still wrapped in cellophane?

That’s a pretty poor response from AutoTrail. Now I’m thinking that I’d best check our microwave, which is possibly the same model.

We broke our Daewoo microwave and had to replace it. No cellophane on the original.
